I am in somewhat of a bad spot right now and I need make a decision about what my career would be and infront of me are two completely different career paths. As of now, I don’t have any elders to guide me, but I want to know more about the concepts of passion, happiness, money and how they affect each other. What books should I read to get a better understanding about these concepts.
I want to take a decision on my career right now which I won’t regret later. Thus, I need to make sure I understand what I am dealing with and what I want first.
Sorry if this is vague, questions are very welcome. Thank you for your help!
I realize this is r/books, but I now realize that there exists mindsets which if you have you won’t be happy doing anything no matter if you like it or not. i.e., There is a good possibility that you will end up miserable no matter if you “follow your passion” or not. I want to avoid things like this. I want to know how to think.
I am ok with a long list of books. I am willing to learn.

You don’t say if you want fiction or non-fiction, but I have a good recommendation for you in the latter category. I found *Bullshit Jobs: A Theory* by David Graeber to be a very illuminating and interesting read on personal happiness in relation to our jobs.
