Let me just say I only watched shows about detectives. Agatha Christie Poirot for example. To get an idea of what I liked.
So suggest to me a series where you follow a detective as he solves crimes with an overarching plot if it is possible. I don't like for the main character to be "I'm too cool to smile and relax." Unless it is a side plot that could be solved as the books progressed, and slowly he relax and be happy. I like for the series to be semi cozy I guess, not too graphic details of terrible things happening.
