It’s been a while since I’ve read books when I was a teen I was always buried in a book. Since then I’ve needed something to get back into and I came across a book called “The Third Parent”. Imo it was so so good and genuinely scary for me so I read some of his other works. When I expressed this in a college book community a few said that those books are geared for adolescents. When a few others read the synopsis of the book and half agreed half “eh not really you read what you want” but it felt like it was out of pity 😭. Have any adult readers read any Elias Witherow books and genuinely thought it was just good?
Also I thought all the sensitive topics and gore in the book would obviously imply for an older audience but apparently those topics make it even more so geared towards teens?
