I'm wondering which book you liked, despite the fact that most people consider it bad or terrible. For me, this is "The Poppy War" by R.F. Kuang. Yes, the fact that this book won the William Crawford Prize is very stupid, because the book has an uneven pace, cardboard (for the most part) characters, and the author's writing style is very dry and difficult to read (in a bad way). But I enjoyed it. The action was written quite well, Rin is currently an interesting character in terms of showing character degradation. And to some extent, it was interesting to read.
