I just finished Watership Down and Tales From Watership Down and they instantly became favorites and I’m looking for some similar reads. I enjoyed the animal adventures and the detailed descriptions of nature. I have started reading Fire Bringer as that was suggested on google but will finish it soon. So far I’m enjoying it as well. Thanks in advance!

Not from animals perspective, but giving loads of nature vibes {{Where the Crawdads sing}}
You might like Plague Dogs, also by Richard Adams.
The Redwall books by Brian Jacques but they are much more YA focused. Still great though imo.
The Hobbit by Tolkein
Duncton Wood by William Horwood

Watership Down is my favorite book. Maybe try the Chet and Bernie mysteries? They are narrated by a dog. I enjoy them, although they are much lighter than Watership Down.
You might enjoy “The Eyes and the Impossible”, by David Eggers — told from the POV of a dog, it’s shorter and lighter than Watership Down, but still very enjoyable.
Also “The Call of the Wild” by Jack London.
