I recently finished a novel that I hope to be querying in the next couple months. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to come up with good comps to use for my query letter. Can you please recommend me a few books that have come out in the past three years that have some or all of the following qualities:

A contemporary fantasy thriller, set in a world with modern technology but magic. Like the Crescent City series but not romantasy.

A fantasy book that focuses on a psychiatrist main character, ideally where several scenes involve actual therapy.

A fantasy book that focuses on a mother/daughter relationship, ideally, a badass mother/daughter.
