I recently read "We Are What We Tell Ourselves: How Stories Shape the World We Live In". The author is a neuroscientist, and in this essay, he discusses exactly what the title suggests: the importance of stories for humans and how they shape our perception of the world. I found it very interesting. So, I'm looking for similar readings.
I guess I'm not looking for something on a specific topic. However, I would like books written by scientists or neuroscientists in a simple manner that explain human nature.
Do any come to mind? Maybe one that you found especially interesting.
I’ll be reading!
