Try SHAMANS AMONG US by Joseph Polimemi or THE COLLECTED SCHIZOPHRENIAS by Esme Weijung Wang. This is one of the greatest rabbit holes you could ever dive into. I would also highly recommend EDEN EXPRESS by Mark Vonnegut or AUTOBIOGRAPHY OF A SCHIZOPHRENIC GIRL by Marguerite Sechehaye.
