I just finished 11/22/63 today and really enjoyed it. It was my first Stephen king book and I thoroughly enjoy his writing style. I am looking for a book that has that same sort of intimate love storyline but not a book advertised as a love story. I don’t think I can read a book that long again for a while. I love mysteries and thrillers too. Thank you!

For more context, I am open to another Stephen king book, a psychological thriller, a sci fi; just nothing super super long. I have recently read the silent patient, sharp objects, the housemaid series, and dune.
that one is fairly small, compared to most of his other works. LOL

You might enjoy *Lisey’s Story* by King, but it might be longer than you want, although definitely shorter than 11/22/63
