hi guys!
so, i'd like to start this by saying i'm annoying as fuck and i know it lol. i like to read well written books and i'm easily disappointed (no, i do not like to be like that)
i fucking hated the silent patient, but i also hated never lie by freida mcfadden (where did that twist even come from?) and sharp objects by gillian flynn (yes, i know. but the twist is shitty and unrealistic)
one thriller i really loved was wrong place, wrong time, by gillian mcallister. it starts as a plot-driven story, but by 40% it shifts from the plot to the mother-son relationship – many people hated the book for it, but i loved specially because of it. good plot + deep characters? my shit
so… that's what i'm looking for. thrillers with good plots, well written characters (they don't have to be likable, they just have to be well written), realistic twists (please no 13 year old girl doing surgeries by herself), and endings that make sense (i truly hate never lie oh my god that book was awful, the twist came from nowhere and made no sense at all)
uhhh so i don't know if that book exists but ! hopefully you guys can help me yay!
(also english isn't my first language so please ignore any grammar mistakes i made on this post. but yes i read in english, i just make a lot of mistakes when writing in it)
