Hi all, just read Love, In Theory by Elodie Cheesman and loved it. It's set in modern Sydney, about a 20-something grad lawyer going through the process of trying to find 'the one'. I have no idea what genre I'd classify it as… it heavily revolves around friendship, family & romantic relationships, with a bit of drama – but it's not too over the top with the romance or the drama. It's kind of subtle and understated, and a close expression of what it's like to date in modern day Australia in real life.
Something similar-ish I read was I Give My Marriage A Year by Holly Wainwright
