Two of my recent favourite books have been The Bee Sting by Paul Murray and Crossroads by Jonathan Franzen. The books are obviously very different but follow a similar structure, with each chapter being told from the point of view of a different family member – mum, dad, children. I really enjoyed seeing an overarching story unfold from the perspectives of people of different ages, genders, outlooks, etc. whilst each person also has their own story going on. Another thing the books had in common was that they were not even particularly plot-heavy, focussing more on character development, which I really enjoyed.

Could anyone suggest some other books that have this narrative structure?
