I can’t quite place what I’m feeling. But it’s like…let me think, I was looking at a bunch of pictures that had a ship and a boat, and I thought to myself: why not get read a book that takes place on the high seas? Or the next moment, I’ll be grabbing a book about a woman navigating her marriage and family as she wrestles with grief. It doesn’t matter what I picture, I always just want to be pulled into the book, into the heart of the story. I want a good setting, but also characters and events that just make me interested. I’m sorry- I’m trying to explain what I feel here when it comes to just experiencing a wonderful story in a different time and place.
