Okay so!! I LOVED this book ♥️ it was so good and had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. I read this book in one day I couldn’t put it down. I tried to find online discussions but there weren’t any so I wanted to ask yall your thoughts on some questions I had.

If Holly was never murdered in their house by her husband, would Millicent have murdered people on her own without him? Would they have found their way to murdering anyways?

Does Millicent hate their daughter simply because she’s a female who steals her husband’s love and affection? Or because she is a psycho who just hates women?

In a similar vein, does Millicent love her son because she is molding him and as a male he’s not a threat?

Would her husband have cheated without being “Tobias”? If he was so OBSESSED with his wife, why did he cheat??

Did Millicent in her own way love her kids? Or were they simply something she controlled? She seemed to genuinely freak out when her son breaks his arm and when her daughter cuts her hair, but also poisons her?

Did Millicent only marry Tobias because he was infatuated with her and therefore easy to manipulate? I find it against her character to have also wanted children.
