Lately I've been going through some tough realities. I was wondering if anyone could recommend books (fiction or nonfiction) that deal with worthless parents (narcissistic, bullying, lying, manipulative, emotionally abusive) and the main character having to push through and deal with it in many aspects of life (raising a family, being a good husband, finding joy, getting over it and being happy). I'm a bit of a loner so if the main character was introverted in some ways that would appeal to me as well. I like themes that have to do with nature, beauty, and reawakening through some forms of movement or provide context to the meaning of life (hiking, wilderness, camping, exercise, sunsets/sun rise, slow walks, living amongst animals, sitting still and watching the seasons change, bird migration).

I realize this is broad and probably would be hard to find something that includes all of these elements, but even recommendations for a variety of books would help. Thank you!
