True crime or other investigative nonfiction

I've been in a horrible reading slump and think I've been craving nonfiction stories to get lost in specifically ones that are true crime or investigating a topic deeply. One that I really enjoyed recently was Long Haul about murders connected to truckers and the author actually went and travelled with a trucker to learn as much as he could about the life. The depth of research put into that book just pulled me right into it and I think something similar might help get me out of the reading slump I'm in.
