Please give me sad coming of age books!!!! (im 16 lol if that helps), I really loved the perks of being a wallflower and it made me SOB multiple times, though im not sure that was the intention of the book lol.

I dont really like romance books, theyre the only ones that i can never really get interested in, but if anyone has good breakup books (that doesnt include them getting back tg in the end) i would deff read that since im going through a bad breakup, im also not good with staying interested in classics either. Please help me out i need a good cry!!

If you’re okay with fantasy, The Imaginary Corpse by Tyler Hayes might work. It delves into loss: of faith, relationships, trust, purpose. Admittedly it’s told from the perspective of a triceratops stuffie named Detective Tippy.

    2. Last time I cried because of a book was “The Book Thief” by Markus Zusak. World War II through the eyes of a little girl from a poor German neighborhood who loves reading.

    3. I’d recommend Flowers for Algernon. It’s not exactly what you’re looking for but it’ll check some boxed

Rabbit Cake by Annie Hartnett. Coming of age for an 11 yr old but follows a whole family after the death of the mother. I really loved every moment. Dealt with dark stuff in a heartwarming way
