Used to love the Percy Jackson series when I was a kid, as I’m sure a lot of people did. I enjoyed diving deep into the story, having the images run wild in my head as if it were a much more detailed movie.
As I got older, mainly in school, I started losing my enjoyment in reading as everything was geared towards being specific, boring books required to be read for a grade. Now that I’m older, done with school, and working, I feel like I haven’t been able to rekindle that flame I once had.
Anyways, enough of that personal stuff lol. I’m looking for books that will get me back into reading, finding that enjoyment in books that feel like I can’t put them down. I’ve been dipping my toes back into it, mainly focusing on sci-fi, being that I’ve always found that intriguing.
Books I’ve read: Recursion, Ready Player One, Armada, Out of the Silent Planet
Currently Reading (trying to): Dune, Project Hail Mary
