I am looking for (relatively contemporary) philosophical writers that are down to earth, interdisciplinary, original, erudite, and preferably not full of shit. (Excuse my language)
I very much enjoyed nassim taleb and alain du botton. I am currently almost done with the Iliad, but although interesting i prefer something a bit more practical.
I might dive into montaigne sometime in the future, but thought maybe someone on here has some other cool tips.
