this is a quick post because im writing a review on parfume by peter suskind (great albeit dramatic read) and can someone tell me is there a word for the ‘dramaticness’ of older novels? yall know what im talking about???? just the way that the chrachters talk and express themseleves is way over the top compared to out times. am i alone in here and is there a word for that? Also in same novels people constantly get pale or sick so easily, stuff like that.
