It’s been about 7 years since I really picked up a book and read it entirely, but holy crap I miss the feeling used to get when immersing myself in a different world! I used to really like dystopian young-adult fantasy, but when I try new ones they always seem lackluster. I’ve grown and so has my taste for books. I know I put a high priority on the romance aspect of books, but I don’t like when the book is solely about the romance. A separate plotline makes the romance more juicy! The biggest thing I’ve been disappointed about when trying to read new books is that I can’t find any that are NSFW!!!! If I’m reading about a romance I want to BE in that romance, yaknow? But when I’ve tried looking for books that are R rated, I only ever find books that are just smut. I can’t seem to find any good mixes! If anyone has any recommendations that are hot AND story-driven I would absolutely love to hear!!

I found Fourth Wing to be really entertaining. It’s not great literature but I couldn’t put it down. A lot of people get sucked into the Sarah J Maas worlds are well. She has three series.
