Is there any pieces of fiction that deals with this topic gracefully, and especially not in a “I can fix them through love” or overtly saccharine way.
The only book I believe I witnessed this is “The House On Mango Street” by Sandra Cisneros. Although, the book’s themes and topics were more varied.
I’m looking for any book that tackle this topic as the main theme, rather than a short-event in the story (and for whatever reason, have you noticed literature loves throwing this in at the end of the book where the character barely has time processes it)
Romance recommendations are okay, if they’re aren’t merely fluff or smut.

Tonight We Rule the World by Zack Smedley. YA, but I thought that the topic of SA was approached very tactfully, especially for young readers.
