I am not looking for a sci-fi, fantasy blend where there is a lot of technology.

There doesn't have to be a lot of space travel nor does the scale of the story have to stretch, in setting, across the cosmos. A very simple comparison to show what I'm looking for could be "LotR + space". I.e. a fantasy story that makes space important in some way, whether it be through making it an integral part of the magic system or turning space into a traversable environment without high technology or whatever else.

Just a story that utilizes the concept and mysterious nature of space in a way that's important/very relevant to the story/world without necessarily making it the absolute center of the narrative (though it's certainly ok if it *is* the center).

I just feel like the idea of space is so big and unknown that there has to be more than just "Here's a fantasy story, but you have the technology to fly to different planets and do other neat, clearly sci-fi stuff". Surely someone out there has turned space into a non-sci-fi element or setting for fantasy..? I know Lovecraft does this with horror, but I'm still confident there's more.
