Normally, I'm not fussy about covers, but there's something about screen adaptation posters as covers that make it a hard pass for me. Could be that I'm not fond of tying a book with its adaptation like that and I'd much prefer to view each version as its own individual thing. Not sure if this is the reason but it's the one that's making the most sense to me right now. Also, posters and book covers are a different thing. Having the poster as a book cover makes the book seem like merchandise for the adaptation. Thoughts?
