I picked this poetry collection up from the library to read for Banned Books Week. Unfortunately, I got 52% of the way through and gave up.
I read The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath years ago and I really enjoyed it. But the difference between her poetry and prose was jarring for me. I just could not grasp the meaning of the poetry in Ariel. I feel like I’m missing something.
If there are any Sylvia Plath fans, I’d appreciate your input.
