So I'm looking for a rather specific theme here. Basically I'm trying to find anything that focuses on a mother who is a serial killer and cannibal, as well as the psychological effects that has on her family. Yes the whole family can be cannibals, but id prefer to find something that is primarily just a mother and her child.
If you've ever read the manga Tokyo Ghoul, I am basically looming for anything similar to the plot of "The Black Goat's Egg". It's referenced a few times in the story, and the plot seems to be about a serial killer mother named The Black Goat, and her son, who hates the things his mother does. But he eventually begins to realize how similar he is to her.
Things I'd prefer:
– If the point of view of the storyteller was the child.
– The mother primarily wants to take care of her child/children and keep them safe.
– if there was cannibalism involved somewhere in the story
Things I'm not looking for:
– a survival after a plane crash type plot. It can be included, but I know that a lot of cannibalism sources seem to just be survival in the wilderness. Which isn't what I am trying to find.
