I know that with some figures from the past it can be a bit "tricky" to label them as Queer but when I say Queer I mean figures that are known or strongly believed to be Queer, whether they be Lesbian, Gay, Bi, Trans or Intersex. The books dont necessarily need to be actual books we'd call actual autobiographies, though those are welcome too, so long as they are autobiographical in nature, like Sappho's poems. For example, Ive seen some Biographies try to portray someone like James Dean as a straight all-American boy when theres a lot of evidence that he was Bisexual. From the middle ages to the late twentieth century, im also just looking for biographies that dont erase or at the very least consider the possibility that said individual was Queer in some way, like Casimir Pulaski. Itd be nice if there were material on figures like Christopher Marlowe, Frida Kahlo, James Dean, Dr. James Barry, or Charley Parkhurst that dont try to omit or erase their Queerness in any way. Books about figures where their Queerness is very difficult to hide are encouraged too, like ones about Alan Turing, James Baldwin, Freddie Mercury, etc.

They can be graphic novels or regular books. Anyway, if yall have any suggestions that'd be great.
