I’m struggling with my mental health, and my favorite books are usually thrillers, horror, and mystery but right now I feel like they’re exacerbating my symptoms. Obviously a book has to have some conflict to have a story at all, but I’d like to try something a little more cheery than someone getting murdered, kidnapped, or having to save the world and I’m not sure where to start.
Open to really anything other than a celebrity memoir, a self help book, or Colleen Hoover.
