that title is really bad so i'll try and explain what i'm looking for.
has anyone read a book where the main character doesn't really do anything but talk to the reader about life, reminiscing on events with advice etc.?
tbh, i don't even know what the plot would be, the thoughts of someone sitting on a bench is really the vibe i want if that helps 🤷♂️ (letters from authors to friends is the closest "genre" i can think of, i've enjoyed them recently because it's slightly philosophical but in conversation way but i'd prefer a story).
