Hi everyone!
I recently finished Flowers for Algernon by Daniel Keyes, and it totally changed the way I think about epistolary novels. In classics like Dracula and Frankenstein, it came across as gimmicky, like the story would have worked just as well in traditional third person. Flowers for Algernon was an amazing story that felt like it could only exist in that form.
Are there any novels that changed the way you think about a specific genre or style? Either by working well or putting you off altogether.
Thanks!
