Hello. My sister influenced me to start my own book collection as she is also doing now. Before, I do love some romance but after having a relationship with my boyfriend, I noticed to develop more interest on action, crime, mystery genres. I love murder mystery crime the most. Recently, I ordered a bunch of books from Agatha Christie to Lisa Jewell.l but will be delivered around December because I live overseas. However, my sister and boyfriend suggested that I should pick up "happier" books like romance because I might get too sad. I have bipolar so I get why they are concern and that would also explains why I am conflicted now. I have a hard time deciding and usually need some advices to validate my choice. I am overthinking if I picked the right books or will I regret not following them eventually. I am thinking if this mystery genre is just a phase hence, should I just bought different genres instead to prepare if I loose interest in reading in December. I dont have the necessary means to just buy any book I want. I have to save first. I dont know if you can understand my point but any advices? Did I make the right decision?
