Books that combine the industrial revolution and fantasy.

I read recently a book series where an american engineer gets magically transplanted to a high-fantasy world where he changes the rules to the game by inventing muskets, and then bolt-action rifles.

I've been a life long fantasy nerd, and I've also read all kinds of musket-era books(Sharpe, Hornblower, etc) but until this one I never saw the two brought to gether.

Now I just finished reading historical fiction involving the late industrial era and its massive social and technological changes. Always interesting stuff. And it sounds just really interesting to see that mixed up with gods, magic, dragons, goblins and all that jazz What kinds of changes it would create when paired with rapid technological/industrial advancements.

So, is there anything like that out there?
