I’d like some books that are a little lighter and more in the spoopy vein to balance out my darker, heavier reading that I have lined up. I’m also looking for cozy autumnal vibes. A romantic element is fine but not necessary. I’d love for it to take place in October and/or have Halloween in it. If that’s not possible, they would ideally take place during fall at the very least.
I have read The Ex-Hex in the past and really enjoyed it, and I’m currently in the middle of The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches—which so far takes place during winter, unfortunately. I also have Payback’s a Witch to read sometime.
Witch stories aren’t the only thing I’m looking for if there’s anything else that doesn’t involve that and is a little spooky in October but more lighthearted.
