So far I've read Oliver Twist, David Copperfield, Dombey and Son, Bleak House, Little Dorrit, A Tale of Two Cities, and Our Mutual Friend. I haven't read The Pickwick Papers, Nicholas Nickleby, The Old Curiosity Shop, Barnaby Rudge, Martin Chuzzlewit, Hard Times, or Edwin Drood. I can't decide if I should reread David Copperfield or Bleak House or continue reading the rest of his novels. I usually read a Dickens novel each year. His novels are long, so they're a big time investment. I'm caught between reading one I already know to be good or reading one of the ones I have remaining, all of which are considered his lesser works. Should I continue reading the rest of his novels? Is there a drop off in quality for the remaining ones I haven't read?

    1. The Old Curiosity Shop and Barnaby Rudge are good, as well as Hard Times. I haven’t read The Pickwick Papers, Nicholas Nickleby, but I started Edwin Drood and didn’t like it. Of the ones you’ve read I have not read Dombey and Son.

    2. I’d keep going! NICHOLAS, CHUZZLEWIT, HARD TIMES, and DROOD are absolutely worth it, and if you read all of those, why not go ahead and finish the job?
