I am very new to reading for anything outside of homework, so I apologize in advance if this is oddly specific or if my references below don’t help at all. I REALLY want to read more in my free time. I have a history of concussion and want to keep my mind sharp to combat issues from them.
I’m realizing a lot of my favorite stories/media have this trope of a morally bad main characters that progress through the story, slowly change their ways and end up becoming the hero/a better person through a redemption arc.
Some examples of shows/various media I enjoy for reference:
• Vinland Saga (anime I really enjoyed recently)
• Red Dead Redemption 2 (my all time favorite video game)
• God of War (the franchise as a whole but the last two games)
• The Last of Us part 1
