      Check out any of Jessie Mihalik’s series or Constance Fay or Jennifer Estep’s Galactic Bonds series.

    4. To be honest, most sci fi does *not* tend to have good romance, at least in my experience. But some do!

      * Trouble and Her Friends by Melissa Scott

      * Borne by Jeff VanderMeer

      * Redsight by Meredith Mooring

      * This is How You Lose the Time War by Amal El-Mohtar and Max Gladstone.

    5. If you are okay with queer romances, I have some suggestions:

      The Lily and The Crown by Roslyn Sinclair is an age gap romance set on a space station. This story is primarily about the romance and relationship.

      No Shelter But The Stars by Virginia Black, enemies-to-lovers between two women marooned on an uninhabited planet.

      The Red Scholar’s Wake by Aliette de Bodard is a sci-fi story about space pirates, centered on a relationship between a woman and a sentient pirate space ship that coaxes her into a marriage of convenience.

      Romantasy tends to be very steamy these days. I don’t know all of the suggestions in this threads, but the ones I’ve read are not. Just as a head’s up, if that’s part of what you’re looking for in the SF version of romantasy.

    7. The Across the Universe trilogy by Beth Revis (YA), Aetherbound by EK Johnston.
      The Starbound Trilogy by Amie Kaufman & Megan Spooner (also YA).
