I’ve read a bit of horror but there a 3 books that have really stuck with me in the genre – House of Leaves, A Head Full of Ghost, and most recently The Last Days of Jack Sparks. I’m realizing what I like most about those books is never knowing what is real and what isn’t, because the person telling the story isn’t truthful. I’m looking for more books with this premise.

I recently read **Gone Girl** by Gillian Flynn. This has an unreliable narrator for part of the book. I also am about to start reading **We Have Always Lived in the Castle** by Shirley Jackson which from what I read has a narrator that is unreliable. I’m definitely adding the books you listed to my TBR.
