I've recently read a string of what I would describe as really great lesbian/queer women action/adventure/thriller books with lesbians/queer women as the main characters, and I'm looking for more. Unfortunately most of the books I see recommended that fit tend to be Fantasy, which is very much Not My Thing. A few of the books that I've read in the last year or so that I really loved are The Girls I've Been and its sequel The Girl in Question by Tess Sharp, Bluebird by Ciel Pierlot, and Hearing Red by Nicole Maser. I'm also a big fan of The Senator's Wife series by Jen Lyon, which isn't really adventure but the second book in that series has some thriller elements to it, which I enjoyed a lot.
I'm really not into fantasy, so please no fantasy recs, books with magic and dragons and are just a no-go for me, but I do really enjoy sci-fi. Some non wlw sci-fi books I've read and enjoyed recently are Project Hail Mary and Artemis, both by Andy Weir, who also wrote The Martian, and the Wool series by Hugh Howey.
