This past weekend, friends of a friend kindly hosted me at their house while I was in town for a wedding. I didn’t get to talk to the husband much, but I know he’s into hiking, cycling, birding and photography. I’m sending one of my favorite planning related books for his wife and want to get him something suited to his interests as well. Any recs for nature oriented memoirs?
I searched old posts on the sub and it seems like a lot of the books are from the 80s/90s and haven’t aged super well based on goodreads reviews (Bill Bryson’s in particular). I also found one called Birding Under the Influence that’s about biking cross country for birding while in recovery but that has pretty mixed reviews as well. Curious if y’all have any recs for more current books that would be enjoyable for a more left leaning modern audience!
