I teach English for engineering students and Im on a mission to encourage them to read more (as no other means help to get better at language more than reading).
I am planning to hold a competition (sort of quiz) and choose three winners, and I want to give them books as gifts.
Please suggest appropriate books which doesn't fire me from work.
For now, I have these books in mind : Lockwood and Co. series, The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman, Unprincess by Manjula Padmananbhan, Pumpkinheads by Rainbow Rowell.
I found them under children's category but those who had read those books, kindly tell me whether they are classroom appropriate??
