Help Me Escape My Reality!

Hello! I am overwhelmed right now with everything going on in my life. I usually turn to books as an escape but I have nothing to read. I like mostly any true crime or fictional drama. But I’m open to all suggestions. My most recent book that stayed with me is “Flowers for Algernon.” I also liked all of Gillian Flynn’s books. “The Nightingale” is good too! A book series is also much appreciated. I have also been immersed in books by Ann Rule such as “Small Sacrifices.” Hardest book true crime book to read was “If You Tell” by Gregg Olsen.
