Im looking for a book about being human, about society or something like that, preferably with a philosophical or psychological take on it, from the perspective of anything that’s not human (an alien, an object, whatever)
Kinda like an alien looking at us and making notes.
Any recommendations?

*Look to Windward* is about aliens dealing with a far future semi-utopian space superpower of humans. Half the protags live in a human rim world while the other protag comes on a mission to it. Mostly they think humans are weirdos.
_All Systems Red_ and its sequels, by Martha Wells. So good
If you’re open to middle grade, I used to LOVE a book called Stuck on Earth by David Klass when I was a kid that’s exactly this!
Fifteen Dogs by Andre Alexis.
A group of dogs gifted human consciousness by arguing Greek gods. Talk about their life experiences.
And
The Art of Racing in the Rain. Dramatic time in a guys life from the perspective of his dog.
Yeah I guess there is a theme here. I like cats too.
The Humans by Matt Haig.
Ismael by Daniel Quinn
The Damned trilogy by Alan Dean Foster (_A Call to Arms_, _The False Mirror_, _The Spoils of War_)
For a less pessimistic book by the same author, _Nor Crystal Tears_.
Seven Views of Olduvai Gorge by Mike Resnick
