I want like, crop circles and UFO’s that look lile giant frisbees. Big Foot, Mothman, loch ness, etc. Something X-Files like, now that I think about it.
Serious would be great, but like there was this horror game called They Are Here that I haven’t been able to stop thinking about. Greyhill Incident was so close to being my cup of tea lmao.

If you don’t mind the obviously biased scientific falsities, Hunt For The Skinwalker by Colm Kelleher is pretty creepy. Delves a lot into unexplained orbs, invisible beasts, and cattle mutilation.
The Mothman Prophecies by John Keele
“Devolution: A Firsthand Account of the Rainier Sasquatch Massacre” by Max Brooks is about yuppies being hunted by Bigfeet. The framing device is that the book’s a compilation of diary entries and research/interviews regarding a ‘Sasquatch massacre’.
