Just returned from a trip to Scotland (Edinburgh and also the highlands) and absolutely adored it. I’m really in the mood to read some books set there, my favourite genre is fantasy and romance.

The main ones that jump to mind are the Inspector Rebus crime novels by Ian Rankin and The Crow Road by Ian Banks
