Similar in what respect? Do you want it to be YA? Do you want it to be bittersweet? Do you want it to have hints of magic but all the events to be perfectly explainable without magic? Do you want a book about childhood friendship, friendship in general, or friendship across genders?
I can think of books that match some of these, but not all, and I don’t know what’s important to you.
