Looking for a slow burn romance, but not necessarily in the romance genre.

I want a book written in the style of lonesome dove, memoirs of a geisha, night circus, etc that has an epic romance. Doesn’t have to be the main storyline. Don’t want general romance/smut. I want something well written that is deeply loving.
