I resumed reading after a very long time about two years ago, and I can't stop.
Over the past year, I've read a lot about science, biology, and a bit of sociology, but now I'd like to delve into history, which I very much love.
I'm looking for history books mainly about the Silk Roads and the Opium Wars, but I'm open to any historical topic. No problem in reading in English, Spanish, French and Italian.
Any recommendations?

Not about Silk Roads but the biography, John Adams, by David McCullough is a masterpiece.
