Hi! This might be a tad bit too specific a suggestion, but I'll give it a shot.
I love a good slice of life book, where people just go about their day and the plot is relatively minimal. Sure, some dramatic, magical or otherwise non-everyday elements may be involved, but never to a point where it distracts from the book mainly existing to portray someone's day to day.
I'm also quite interested in Eastern and Central-European life and culture, and have been a massive fan of cinema from the region for a while, but I realise that I really don't know much about their literature. Does anyone have any good slice of life-ish books from Central and Eastern-Europe to recommend?
