I'm almost done with Grimes' Richard Jury series which I read from the first book and am about to finish the last (25th?).
Is there a mystery series you'd recommend next?.
Thanks.
Edit: bonus points if the series is finished ( like the alphabet series, thanks for the reminder).

I loved Sue Grafton’s Alphabet series. They are quick reads but so fun!
I love Martha Grimes. The other writers who give me the same vibes (characters that you get to know over successive books, some humor, well-written, classic British mysteries, enough books to dig into) are:
Kate Atkinson (Jackson Brodie books)
Deborah Crombie
Elizabeth George
Elly Griffiths (I like all of three of her series, but Harbinder Kaur books have the most updated Richard Jury feel.)
