I am looking to read a book from the perspective of an AI or robot, but I am trying to find on that actually treats its AI like an AI. I tried reading the Murderbot series, but I found that although the start was promising, the protagonist was only a robot superficially. They acted like a human, looked like a human, and that just killed it for me. I want to read something from the persprctive of a ships AI, a rogue garbage collection drone, an ancient warmachine, or some kind of security system, to name some random examples. I want to read a book from the perspective of something that is very clearly not a human. Any suggestions?
